July Microsoft Patch Tuesday
Microsoft has announced four new patches today to fix 22 vulnerabilities. One patch is rated Critical by Microsoft and affects Microsoft Windows. The three other patches are rated Important by Microsoft and affect Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Gladiator recommends that users with impacted systems apply all patches immediately. May Microsoft Patch Tuesday
Microsoft has announced 2 new patches today to fix vulnerabilities with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. One patch is rated Critical by Microsoft and affects Microsoft Windows. August Microsoft Patch Tuesday
Microsoft has announced 15 new patches today to fix vulnerabilities that could allow remote code execution and elevation of privileges. Nine patches are rated Critical by Microsoft and affect Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft .NET, and Internet Explorer. Six patches are rated Important by Microsoft and affect Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Gladiator recommends that users with impacted systems apply all Critical patches immediately. June Microsoft Patch Tuesday
Microsoft has announced 10 new patches today to fix vulnerabilities that could allow remote code execution, elevation of privileges and tampering. Three patches are rated Critical by Microsoft and affect Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer. Seven patches are rated Important by Microsoft and affect Microsoft Windows, Office, and the .NET Framework. Gladiator recommends that users with impacted systems apply all Critical patches immediately. Other patches can be applied during your normal patch roll outs. March Microsoft Patch Tuesday
Microsoft has announced two new patches today to fix vulnerabilities that could allow remote code execution. Both patches are rated Important by Microsoft and affect Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Gladiator recommends that users immediately apply the Microsoft Office Excel patch. Microsoft Access Snapshot Viewer ActiveX Vulnerability
GSA Reference Number: AD080708-01
Simply Put: Microsoft Access included with Microsoft Office 2000 through 2003, including Office XP, is vulnerable to remote exploitation through Internet Explorer. If a user with MS Access installed browses to a malicious website, arbitrary files could be copied to the users machine. The vulnerability can be used to run malicious code on a user’s machine without notification or permission. Gladiator feels this issue is extremely critical.
