Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.2 and earlier versions are confirmed as vulnerable. This vulnerability has become a target of malware authors, and should be patched as quickly as possible.
Adobe Acrobat, Reader and Flash Remote Exploit Vulnerability

Adobe Patch Released for Acrobat and Reader

This patch fixes multiple vulnerabilities regarding the Adobe products for both Windows and Mac operating systems. The patch is available through the software update tool or by visiting the Adobe Security Bulletin linked below. This is Adobe’s first patch release using its new quarterly release cycle.
Adobe Reader and Acrobat 8.1.2 Vulnerabilities
A number of critical vulnerabilities have been found in older versions of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader. The vulnerabilities affect version 8 of the Adobe products, more specifically, Adobe Reader 8.1.2 and earlier versions, Adobe Acrobat Professional, 3D, and Standard 8.1.2 and earlier versions. These vulnerabilities could potentially cause a number of issues including a denial of service or even remote code execution through a specially-crafted .pdf file, which could lead to a system take-over.
